overprints. The four characters read
中華郵政 Chinese Post.
Chan recognises a further 9 values, these may not normally be issued
or may simply be forgeries. Note: Kerr shows the Chinese 葵傢溝 Kuí jiā gōu (his translation Tsai kia kow). Fisher's Gazetteer has identified a Post Office at 加傢溝 Jiā jiā gōu (Chia-chi-kuo), a name shown as an alternative by Kerr - this may be a different town. All of the stamps known for this town are shown above. |
