This is a rubber chop, hand-stamped in soft black, this is the complete set of 6 stamps. The top four characters read 中國郵政 Chinese Post. |

This is a red surcharge on top of the previous black overprint. The red overprint reads 中國郵政 Chinese Post. 500, 暫作 Temporary Use, 湯原 Tang Yuan. Kerr missed out the bottom two characters showing the town name when he made his sketch. | ||||||||
