China Post Office. The dots of black ink to the left of the two
lower characters are typical and probably due to some defect in the
hand-stamp used. Fake overprints are known on the 1944 10f Friendship with Japan Issue, these are copies from Kerr's sketch. |

These stamps have been identified by using Volume II of the Stamp Catalogue of China by Shui-Hon Chan and the four booklet guide The Local Overprinted Stamps of Manchuria 1945-7 by Allen D Kerr (published 1978 and now out of print).
