Purple nationalist star above a  four character 中華民國 Chinese Republic overprint. This is a complete set of 4 stamps.

Fakes of this stamp have been seen in online auctions. Most are based upon Kerr's sketch and have a dent in the circular emblem at about 2 o'clock.

A soft black rubber overprint, the four characters read 郵政 Chinese Post.. This is a complete set of 11 stamps. Also in violet - see below. Examples of this overprint on the 50f stamp have been seen inverted and even printed sideways.

Kerr and Chan list another similar set described as hard black (made with a wooden chop), this set does not exist but it is possible that 10fx10f and the 5f stamps listed as part of this set do exist, (but if this is the case I have not seen them).

Probable issue date 21st January 1946. A soft violet rubber overprint, the four characters read 郵政 Chinese Post.. This is a set of 10 stamps.

This is a hard black .5 surcharge on the standard eight character Chan Chun overprinted 10f stamps. It is not entirely clear what value this represents, probably ˝ Yuan or Dollar.

All of the sets known for this town are shown above.

These stamps have been identified by using Volume II of the Stamp Catalogue of China by Shui-Hon Chan and the four booklet guide The Local Overprinted Stamps of Manchuria 1945-7 by Allen D Kerr (published 1978 and now out of print). Both works are essential for anyone delving seriously into this subject.
