This is a soft violet surcharge with four characters reading 中華民國 Chinese Republic shown at the top, below this the surcharge is shown on the left and to the right 暫作 Temporary Use. | ||||||||

This is an identical surcharge to those shown above. Perhaps they ran out of 3f stamps and violet ink. This is the only set of overprinted stamps known for this village. |

These stamps have been identified by using Volume II of the Stamp Catalogue of China by Shui-Hon Chan and the four booklet guide The Local Overprinted Stamps of Manchuria 1945-7 by Allen D Kerr (published 1978 and now out of print).
