Official Picture Postcards - Series Ten

Issued in 1940 these postcards were issued to promote Postal Life Insurance. At the time Japan needed to built up its funds in preparation for war.

           

 

Card 1. This card features a lady presumably posting off her Postal Life Insurance application. The slogan on the reverse reads "Development of culture is the postal mission".

           

   

Card 2. This image shows the same woman with children and a grandfather. The slogan on the back reads "A person insured brings family happiness and ensures everyone's fortunes".
